Merry Christmas & Happy Holiday Cheer

I just wanted to send out a quick update to say Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all of you and your families. 

Everything with the game is moving along. The figures are already being molded and there are five more add-on figures that need to be done before we launch the pledge manager. The second book is already at the printer and will be available on Amazon soon. The 1st issue of the comic will be going to the printer next week.

Our painter Nate Villareal painted Princess Xea'lana and Prince Ulep for us and they look pretty awesome.

Hope you have a great Holiday spending time with your loved ones. Thank you all again for being so supportive and being part of the Destiny Aurora universe.

UPDATED CREATURE FIGURES

Hi, Destiny Aurora fans, I hope everyone is having a great time preparing for the holidays. Below is a few new and updated creature figures. It looks like we'll be launching the Pledge Manager at the beginning of the year, which will give everyone time to recover from the holidays.

THE KRESSIN BEAST

Below is a comparison in height to the Tri-Gorgon. Both are on a 2" base. These guys are nasty critters with an appetite for juicy crewmembers and villain warriors alike. It's a good idea to not get in his way. In fact running might be a better one.

THE CYBER SENTINEL

Here's a comparison in size to Flibby. The Cyber Sentinel many times will work with the Ronin Androids as their muscle. With weapons for hands, he has an inherent range ability that automatically does 1 hit. Better get your dodging shoes on, or find a Personal Shield Projector. 

THE LAVA GANIK 

Here's the figure in comparison to Rica and boy does he look angry. There's an entire mission dedicated to the Lava Ganik where he can infect your crew if he does damage to them. Luckily there's a cure hidden somewhere on the planet, but finding it will take time. The only problem is if you don't find it in 3 rounds, your crew will start falling to the ground, leaving you defenseless. Better find it before your opponent does. 

That's it for now. As you can see things are coming along nicely. I also approved all of the core game figures, so they're already being molded before Chinese New Year.

Updated Arachno-Demon & Dregg Warrior Figures

Hi, everyone. I just wanted to keep you updated on the sculpts for the miniatures that are still in progress. Once they're all completed we'll be launching the Pledge Manager through Backerkit.

Here's the updated and final Arachno-Demon. He looks pretty intimidating with a 2-inch base.

 Here's the updated Dregg Warrior figure. He's almost done. Just have to put in a few details.

 We have a few more coming. We'll keep you posted.

WOOOOOT! WE DID IT! WE SAVED THE PRINCESS!

What an amazing ride. That ending was Epic all by itself. With literally seconds to go, we leaped over the finish line to nab the Princess. Her gratitude overflowed as we unlocked the stretch goal and soon her miniature will placed into everyone's box of sci-fi goodness. 

 I'm so excited to share this game with you and look forward to hearing all of your stories unfold as situations occur during your game that I can only fathom.

Thank you so much for all of your support and words of encouragement, they meant a lot to me. Happy Holidays to everyone and your families. I will continue to update you on the progress, as we begin work before the inevitable onset of Chinese new year.

You are all awesome! And thank for your belief in the project and sticking with it in the face of so much competition.

2 HOURS TO GO & THE FUTURE

We have 2 hours to go and less than $2k till we unlock the Princess. Exciting stuff. 

Continue to get the word out. You're all doing an amazing job of helping increase awareness about the game. 

I know some of you were asking about adding additional crews. Here are some pics from the upcoming Shadow Raven franchise, that I first released as a comic back in the mid '90s.  I'm considering turning them into future crew members for Destiny Aurora. You're the first to see some of this artwork.
